Under the sponsor of H.E the Health Minister, Chairman of SFDA Board of Directors Dr. Tawfiq Al-rabiah, H.E Dr. Hisham Al-judhei CEO of SFDA honored Banque Saudi Fransi for sponsoring the first conference for food, drug and medical devices which was held in the Intercontinental hotel in Riyadh during the period from 7 till 9/11/2017G. As part of the strategic sponsorship and partnership between Banque Saudi Fransi and Saudi Food and Drug Authority and as recognition of SFDA significant role in the safety of food and drug and the efficiency of medical devices in the Kingdom.
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority stating that it is working to achieve 2030 vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through enhancing the efficiency and transparency, and setting up the necessary environment for citizens, companies and businesses to bear their responsibilities and take the lead in facing challenges and seize opportunities in a way that ensuring the safety of food, safety, quality and effectiveness of drug and the efficiency and safety of medical devices and products.
One of the main objectives of the conference that it is an annual link between SFDA and its partners from both public and private sectors. It provides annual platform for scientific and practical discussion between the Authority and its partner through presenting the scientific, legislative and organizational developments related to the Authority work. Furthermore, transferring and localizing experiences and knowledge enrichment by food and drug awareness. In addition to, conducting scientific and practical workshops in line with the Authority’s orientation, with participation of its partners to present latest products, organizational affairs and development tools.
